Mrs.Miniver eBay is proud to offer one of the rarest and best posters ever made representing Hollywood’s GOLDEN era.  Offered here is an original Pre-Code Early 1930's poster issued to advertise Hollywood's preeminent movie Studio: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. What an amazing item! This 1-of-a-kind poster was issued directly by MGM back in the early 1930's to advertise the glory that is MGM; "More Stars than in the heavens." It's hard to pin down an exact date for this poster. I'm sure a savvy MGM aficionado could probably nail it down to the exact year based on the photos chosen, but I've determined (by simple deduction) that it has to be pre-1935 based on the fact that the Marx Brothers are not shown on the poster. Happily, the poster does show the entire MGM lineup of early legends, including an amazing image of their biggest star - Leo the MGM Lion – who adorned the head of every MGM picture released by the studio. Greta Garbo, Jean Harlow, Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, Laurel and Hardy, John Barrymore, Jeanette MacDonald, Wallace Beery, Jackie Cooper, Marie Dressler, and a good number of the other early 1930’s contract players are shown in plenty all over this remarkable piece.
