Hi, here is a great looking set of 16 Mr. Wong detective movie poster fridge magnets. Perfect for fans of classic Hollywood detective movies. These colourful, unique and attractive fridge magnets were manufactured in Canada and are old warehouse stock.
They have never been used
and may have some faint or minor storage wear. They are laminated for durability and have a magnetic strip on the back. Each fridge magnet measures approximately 3 and 3/4" by 2.5" wide.

About the Mr. Wong Movie series: From 1938 to 1940 Monogram Pictures made a series of six Mr.Wong detective movies. The poverty-row studio had star asset Boris Karloff under contract and capitalized on his marquee name and the success of 20th Century-Fox's Charlie Chan movies to make some coin with their own Asian detective series. By late 1940 Karloff was either tired of the role or out of his contract, because the studio replaced him with actor Keye Luke for the last movie in the series, "Phantom of Chinatown". Luke's claim to fame was playing Charlie Chan's number #1 son in the 20th Century-Fox movies; and he also had a reoccurring role on TV's Kung Fu in the 1970's.
