    Description

    This is "new" very "old stock".  We purchased a huge lot (literally thousands) of photo postcards from an estate of a man who bought out a former early "General Store" DECADES ago.  These were for sale in that store way back in the early years of the 20th century (1900's).   Very interesting to us and, hopefully, to others as well - I will keep listing these until I'm no longer on Ebay.  Lots of history.  This group represent a few we picked at random related to glaciers in Alaska. You get all 6 cards - 3 of each .  At the top left is Taku Glacier (3). Upper row right is Foster Glacier, Taku Inlet (3).  Second row left is Icebergs, Gastineaux Channel (3). Second row right is the Muir Glacier (3).  Third row left postcard is P.C. Co. Excursion Steamer "Spokane" at Taku Glacier, Alaska (3).  Third row right is Davidson Glacier, Alaska (3).  For a TOTAL OF 18 CARDS.  Color variations are due to age - some are brownish or greenish.  None was ever mailed.  All have the divided back. The price I'm asking is 20 cents per card.  Thanks for looking at my auction.
