This is the original one sheet poster (aprox. 27" by 41") for
Port of Lost Dreams
(1935), a very early appearance of
Bill (Hopalong Cassiday) Boyd
in this scarce poster. This movie was produced by
Chesterfield Motion Pictures Corporation,
and also starred
Lola Lane.
This poster was folded for shipping to theaters, and it's condition is
Good to Very Good
(Used and worn, paper is in pretty nice shape, wear, folds along left border, tears at fold intersections, 4" tear at the top (left of woman's head), 4" semi-circular tear (to the left of the woman's belt), 1/4" hole in shadow below coller at the mid-vertical fold, small hole at center of central fold intersection). Please see the reference to grading standards in the last paragraph. This poster was purchased from the inventory of
Collectors Bookstore
in Hollywood, when they decided to close their doors and retire.
It is an authentic and genuine theatrical poster, not a reproduction!
USA + INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE WELCOME.

We will be placing most of the posters that we will be offering on ebay under one of three general condition categories...
Very Good to Excellent
(Very nice condition, may have a few minor flaws),
Good to Very Good
(Used, but not abused, shows some wear, several flaws), and
Good
(Obviously well used, many flaws). The most widely accepted standard for grading the condition of movie posters is that of
Jon Warren. I am not a grading expert, so I will offer a general and conservative estimate of the grade based upon Warren's system
.
