Antique Divided Back Postcard 1907-1915 Used PC of “NATIVE OF CAPE PRINCE OF WALES, ALASKA. Wearing a LONG BLACK BEARD and a FUR PARKA - probably from the PELT of an ANIMAL he HUNTED himself. The Cape Prince of Wales is the westernmost mainland point of the Americas. It is also the pinnacle of the Continental Divide - marking the division of the Pacific and Arctic coasts. Standard size 5.5” x 3.5”. In good condition according to postcard rating system due to noticeable worn corners (especially the lower right which is bent), edge wear, minor creases in the lower left and upper right corners, and minor wear to the surface of the card. These flaws are not detrimental to the overall great appearance of the card in my opinion, however. But, please see photo and you be the judge. IMPORTANT POSTCARD SHIPPING INFORMATION: For single postcard purchases, you can choose .75 cents for postage, but there will be no tracking number included. This is called a non-machinable letter and is handled in such a way so to not bend it. Please understand that if you choose this option you are making an informed decision to take the risk that should your package get lost, there will be no way to track it and I the seller am not to blame (in terms of giving me negative feedback). I will, however, refund you the full price of the postcard and shipping in the rare event that this happens. The other option is to pay .15 for a First Class Package with tracking. These are the only two options the post office gave me.
