  • Condition: This original, partially restored 1939 Lobby Card exhibits solid colors with excellent detail of the images on a basically pristine main image background. All of the minor flaws that exist are along the borders and not on the main image with the exception of one. That "one" is 2 tiny (1/32") whitish dots at the top in the dark blue "G" in "GESTE". There is a chip with missing paper (1/4") at the top left corner tip. There are creases and bends at the bottom left and bottom right corners. There is a 1" faint vertical scuff mark at the center of the bottom border. There is a 1/2" vertical tear along the top border above the "U". There are no pin holes, no tape or tape residue, and no soiling. There is no loss of color. The Lobby Card has a low to low/medium gloss. Overall, a very presentable appearance ready to be framed and displayed. Please review the photos carefully.

    .  It was used by
    Paramount
    to promote this movie at theatres and movie houses when it was released in 1939.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars
    Gary Cooper, Ray Milland, Robert Preston, Brian Donlevy, Susan Hayward
    , J. Carrol Naish, Albert Dekker, Broderick Crawford, and Donald O'Connor.  It was directed by William A. Wellman.
    This partially restored movie Lobby Card measures 11" x 14".
    It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing.
    This partially restored original movie Lobby Card is graded C8, Very Fine.
    Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.
    Prior to partial restoration, this Lobby Card was graded a C7 Fine/Very Fine.  Restoration corrected minor chips,
    small tears, and staple holes  Part of the bottom right corner was re-attached.
    The partial restoration was very successful in making this original Lobby Card of

    very sharp with a very clean appearance. The Lobby Card now has a very presentable appearance and is immediately ready to be framed and displayed with excellent results.
