Welcome to the auction of 3 absolutely guaranteed original SCHOOL DISTRIBUTION very fine condition linenbacked American apprx. 22 by 28 inch half sheet size 1938 movie posters of BUCCANEER. These very rare movie posters were for use in schools that were usually produced in 8 to 14 piece sets , they were produced to promote the release of the film in high schools and colleges. Most examples of these school posters have crumbled to pieces and been thrown away or been thrown away long ago and they are very rare , I linenbacked these three to preserve them , the ones you'll recieve are the examples in the photo's. They may of had edge chips and small tears I would be guessing I could actually look but I haven't, if your going to buy them for sure call me and I'll give you a exact discription of each if you want. The Buccaneer, the 1938 Cecil B. DeMille directed seafaring Navy Naval sailor military biographical pirate romantic adventure film ("Based on an adaptation by Jeanie Macpherson of 'Lafitte the Pirate' by Lyle Saxon"; a highly fictionalized biography of the famous 18th century pirate Jean Lafitte, who operated for many years off of New Orleans, but because he did not attack any American ships, he was somewhat tolerated by the American government) stars Fredric March, Franciska Gaal, Akim Tamiroff, Margot Grahame, Walter Brennan, Ian Keith, Anthony Quinn, Douglass Dumbrille, Beulah Bondi, and Robert Barrat. EBAY now requires all order checkout's be performed on Ebay only - so if your buying multiple posters or item's and they can be shipped together EBAY DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY COMBINE THEM in the checkout - I suggest just allowing me a day to adjust the shipping charges to reflect the combining shipping discounts - sadly Ebay's checkout doesn't caculate combined shipping discounts like my vendio account did just fine - so you must wait to pay until I have a chance to do this manually on your invoice before you pay if your ordering multiple posters.
