    1939 LAUREL & HARDY!!
THE #1 GREATEST COMEDY MOVIE POSTER!
Offered here is an original 1939 Laurel and Hardy 24 sheet billboard poster.
This is the RAREST Laurel and Hardy poster in existence!
    RARE meaning IT'S
    THE SINGLE
    ONLY
    ORIGINAL KNOWN TO EXIST!
It doesn't get rarer than that. 24 sheet posters are virtually non-existent pre-1960, and, forget about finding one from the 1930's. There are only a few known - like six in total - from any of the 1930's films. Beyond that, this poster features the best artwork ever created on the legendary comedy duo. It's charming, delightful, vintage and sweet - Just like the comedy team. The photos don't do it justice. What an amazing display this would make.
This Flying Deuces is in unprecedented
    UNUSED ORIGINAL CONDITION
    !
The 24 sheet is approximately 8 feet 9 inches by 19 feet 7 inches, and is printed in 12 sections. It can be professionally linen-mounted in one piece for display. No question it's the FINEST example of a comedy poster to ever surface.
It is from Hollywood's greatest magic year

    1939

    GONE WITH THE WIND!
After 100 years of being the industry standard,
paper billboards are now an artifact from the past
. The film industry discontinued printing their 24-sheet and 30-sheet movie billboards on paper, just like that - overnight - in the early 2000s. They switched to manufacturing them on thin plastic or vinyl to save money on printing and hanging. Unlike poster paper, vinyl is NOT archival or stable! It degrades and breaks down over time. Vinyl is also exceeding difficult to store. Basically, vinyl poster stock is not viable for long-term collecting and procuring! I won't touch it. Happily, this vintage Laurel and Hardy 24-sheet was
made on glorious USA high-quality paper. It was right about 2007 (or thereabouts) that the paper movie billboard sadly came to an historic end in America. Nevertheless, the paper billboard had enjoyed a full 100 years of prowess. It more than stood tall; it stood mighty, as a unique art form and an important part of our heritage. Life would look a whole lot different here in the United States if it weren't for the creation of the billboard. There's no question, billboards have literally changed the landscape of this country - from sea to shining sea. The best of them need to be preserved. This is one of the very best of them!

hy waste your money in the stock market? It can crash regardless of any decision you make and can even crash regardless of any decision made by the company related to the stock - Leaving you with a near worthless piece of paper that won't inspire anyone! With the purchase of an historic document such as this 24-sheet, it doesn't matter what happens to the economy, you'll still have the poster, which can be displayed and enjoyed. The magnificence of art and historic documents have an inherent value that relates to civilization and society.
