Welcome to the auction of 8 absolutely guaranteed original SCHOOL DISTRIBUTION Fair to very fine condition American 20 by 30 inch half sheet size 1937 movie posters of EBB TIDE . Ebb Tide, the 1937 James P. Hogan romantic seafaring ocean adventure thriller ("Thundering Saga of the South Seas in Technicolor!"; "One of the greatest stories ever written!"; "Filmed in breathtaking Technicolor!"; "First Sea Film in Technicolor!"; "Based on a story by Robert Louis Stevenson")which stars Oscar Homolka, Frances Farmer, Ray Milland, Lloyd Nolan, Barry Fitzgerald, and Lina Basquette. These very rare movie posters were for use in schools that were usually produced in 8 to 14 piece sets , they were produced to promote the release of the film in high schools and colleges. Most examples of these school posters have crumbled to pieces and been thrown away or been thrown away long ago and they are extremely rare , you see no record of any for auction on emovieposter or heritage or extremely few. I have several sets from films from the 1930's. The ones you'll recieve are the examples in the photo's in all cases . All of the 8 posters are pictured and some have close-up photo's - this is all I had time for - you will receive a total of 8 different EBB TIDE 20 by 30 inch school distribution PARAMOUNT PICTURES promotional posters all from 1937 , which appears to be the full set, there is a small note still attached to the first poster clearly from there original use in 1937 and this lists only 8 posters see the 2nd photo down from the top. EBAY now requires all order checkout's be performed on Ebay only - so if your buying multiple posters or item's and they can be shipped together EBAY DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY COMBINE THEM in the checkout - I suggest just allowing me a day to adjust the shipping charges to reflect the combining shipping discounts - sadly Ebay's checkout doesn't caculate combined shipping discounts like my vendio account did just fine - so you must wait to pay until I have a chance to do this manually on your invoice before you pay if your ordering multiple posters.
