GOLDEN BOY (Columbia, 1938) Size: Original U.S. Lobby Card (11″ x 14″)Condition: Overall in Good Condition. This incredibly rare Lobby Card for the 1939 romantic, family dreams, boxing melodrama, GOLDEN BOY, displays several corner/blank border pinholes, two tears covered with clear tape, one at the top edge down into the “L” in GOLDEN & a second at lower right eye into the man’s jacket, a noticeable crease from the lower left under Menjou’s nose in the circular inset up into the lower part of Holden’s coat, some surface dings, small edge tears & edge/corner wear light creasing and a general darkening which is customary for Columbia lobby cards of this age, otherwise there is rich color and a dramatic image from the film featuring William Holden & Barbara Stanwyck gripping one another as Adolph Menjou attempts to pull him away!
