Herbert Franklyn, son of a wealthy importer, refuses to give up the party and the women after his engagement with Miriam Faversham. Tired of this attitude, she breaks with him. On a business trip to Japan , Herbert meets Cherry Blossom, whom his father would like to see marry a Westerner. In spite of her love for Kato Nakamura, Cherry Blossom bends to her father’s wishes and leaves for the United States with “her American husband”.
