  • Condition: This original movie Lobby Card has maintained strong color and definition on a generally unfettered image. The flaws that exist are along the border or minor. There are pin holes in the 4 corners and on the right side border. There is slight toning/browning along the border. There are two faint scrap marks (1" and 1/2") at the top right section of the Lobby Card near the word "REVUE", in the dark blue background area. There is no loss of paper at these scraps and only very minor loss of color (the scraps are whitish). On the reverse along the top of the Lobby Card to the right there is what appears to be a water mark - this mark does not bleed through to the front of the Lobby Card. There are no tears, no tape or tape residue, and no loss of paper. There is no soiling or smudges and the edges are straight and without issue. The photo on the Lobby Card still has excellent detail and is without issue. Please review the photos carefully.

    to promote the movie when it was released in 1929.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars Marion Davies,
    Jack Benny
    , John Gilbert, Norma Shearer,
    Joan Crawford
    , and
    Buster Keaton
    .  It was directed by Charles Reisner.
    This unrestored movie Lobby Card measures 11" x 14".
    It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing.
    This original movie Lobby Card is graded C7, Fine/Very Fine.
    Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.   The Lobby Card has an excellent appearance and is immediately ready for framing and display.  The flaws that are described on this listing are not obtrusive to the appearance of the Lobby Card.    It has held up well for almost 90 years.
