    The famous novel by Charlotte Bronte has been adapted no less than twenty times for film and television. The first full length feature film was in 1921, directed by Hugo Ballin. Ballin was more remembered as an art director, but he brought his design skills to this silent version of the famous story which he also directed and produced. Ballin cast his wife Mabel Ballin as Jane in this beautiful film. This rare one sheet is linen backed and we grade it in fine plus condition. There are some minor distresses and very minor paper loss in the border area. Stone lithograph.
