  • Condition: This original, 1936 Title Lobby Card, starring John Wayne, exhibits solid colors with excellent detail of the images on a basically pristine background. The minor flaws that exist do so mainly along the borders of the Lobby Card. The vanilla-colored border has aged a bit reflected in slight darkening of the border. There are 4 pin holes (only 1 is in the image area about an inch in from the border) - 1 above the "O" in "JOHN" at the top left border; 1 at the top right in the lime green image area; 1 at the bottom right corner border; and 1 along the bottom border to the left. There is very minor smudging along the top border. There are no tears and no tape or tape residue. There is no soiling. There is no loss of paper or color. This Title Lobby Card has a low gloss. The main image is beautiful with basically no flaws. Please review the photos carefully.

    to promote the movie when it was released in 1936.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars
    John Wayne, Muriel Evans, Cy Kendall
    , Jack Clifford, Arthur Aylesworth, and Herbert Heywood.  It was directed by Joseph Kane.
    This unrestored Title Lobby Card measures 11" x 14".
    It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing.
    This original Title Lobby Card is graded C8 Very Fine.
    Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.   The Lobby Card has an excellent appearance and is immediately ready for framing and display.  The main image is basically pristine with great, solid colors and clear, clean images and lettering.
