Welcome to the auction of a absolutely guaranteed original very good condition American 27 by 41 inch 1937 folded one sheet size movie poster for NAVY BLUE AND GOLD . Navy Blue and Gold: The Love Story of Annapolis, the 1937 Sam Wood directed Maryland love triangle military U.S. Naval Academy comedy. The story of three plebes at the Naval academy, and their struggles to graduate and find romance too starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Robert Young, Lionel Barrymore, Florence Rice, Billie Burke, Tom Brown, Samuel S. Hinds, Paul Kelly, and Barnett Parker. NOTE: This movie originally released in 1937, This is the first re-release one-sheet , the date isn't on the poster but it has a litho number, and by comparing this number to the database of litho numbers taken from other dated movie posters, you can determine that this re-release is almost certainly from 1941!). Condition: good , A lesser condition grade. There are many creases scattered in various areas (it appears that it was "crushed" at one time). There is a large tear at lower left sealed with linco professional document repair tape. Certainly the poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would preserve it's condition from getting worse. Add .85 for shipping flat and folded to your winning bid.
