    Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Roy Del Ruth musical comedy, THE STAR MAKER (1939) starring Bing Crosby, Louise Campbell, Linda Ware, and Ned Sparks. Crosby plays songwriter Larry Earl, a character based on the life and career of Gus Edwards, a vaudeville impresario who worked with children and discovered many great talents, including George Jessel, Eddie Cantor, Mervyn LeRoy, and Phil Silvers. Long on songs and production numbers and short on plot, the film is still a wonderful singing opportunity for Crosby, who also had a great on-screen chemistry with his young stars. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very good condition, with some tears and distresses along the fold lines.
