    Description

    Stock certificate for the Crescent Mills in Fall River, Massachusetts.  Signed by the President Benjamin Covel and the secretary.  Made out to a Julia Seabury for six shares.  Dated January 14, 1881.  the mill was built by the Crescent Mill Corporation in 1872.  They produced brown sheetings and fine fabrics.  the mill was sold in 1893, and became known as the  Merchant's Mill No. 3. in 1893.  The mill closed in 1931.
