Condition: This original movie poster has an excellent appearance with good definition and subtle coloring. The flaws are minor and generally are not obtrusive to the poster's appearance. There is a small chip on the outside edge of the right border. Above that is a 1" horizontal tear at the outside edge. There are 2 tape residue marks (1/2" each) along the bottom border. There is a tiny scrap near the bottom under the name "Chick" in "Chick Chandler". The 4 corners have minor wear and small bends. There are about 7 tiny pin holes along the border in various spots. There is a 1" vertical tear along the outside edge of the top border to the right of center. The paper remains for almost all of these flaws. In the image, there is a slight, faint crease under Don Ameche's chin/shoulder. There is a small chip to the left side of the poster above the head of the smaller picture of Ameche. There is no soiling or smudges and no loss of color. Please review the photos carefully.

This unrestored movie poster is Rolled and measures 22" x 28",
and is referred to as a Half Sheet.
This original movie poster is graded C7, Fine/Very Fine.
Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.    The main image on the poster is well defined and holds its color.  The colors are not necessarily bright, but they resonate a certain class, and are quite handsome in their golds and pale blues.  The poster has a very low gloss. All of the flaws are minor and occur along the poster's border and outer edges. Thus, once the poster is laid flat and properly framed, this will definitely assist in alleviating many of these minor flaws such as minor tears, bends, and creases. Still, in looking at the poster, virtually none of the flaws stand out and one is left with a superb image of this iconic movie.
