  • Condition: This original movie Window Card's main image is clean and generally unfettered with an excellent appearance. All but one flaw occur along the Window Card's edges and border. There is a 2" vertical tear at the bottom border left of center. There is a 1/2" horizontal tear on the right side edge. There is a 1" vertical tear at the top edge left of center. There is a 1 1/4" horizontal tear on the left side edge. There is water damage along the bottom border and in the right corner. There are 2 pin holes on the left edge. The only flaw in the image is about 4 " down from the top - a faint toning/browning 1/4" thick line runs across the entire Window Card horizontally. It is not significantly obtrusive. There is no tape or tape residue. There is no loss of paper or color. The Window Card is Flat - it is and has never been rolled or Folded - with a low gloss. Please review the photos carefully.

    THE GREAT DIVIDE
    .  It was used by
    First National
    to promote this movie when it was released in 1929.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars Dorothy Mackaill, Ian Keith,
    Myrna Loy
    , Lucien Littlefield, and Creighton Hale.  It was directed by Reginald Barker.
    This unrestored Window Card comes Flat, and measures 14" x 22".
    It has never been rolled or Folded.
    This original Window Card is graded C7, Fine/Very Fine.
    Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  The main image of this window card is in excellent condition  This worn Window Card still delivers a strong main image with generally unfettered images.  Proper framing can help alleviate, and probably completely hide, the multiple tears along the edges of the Window Card along with hiding the water damage on the bottom border.   Once framed, this Window Card will make a very nice display.  It will highlight one of the early film's by actress Myrna Loy (her first film was in 1925), definitely a great actress.
