    Description

    This listing is for an original (not a reproduction) one-sheet poster that was used for a 1943 short subject release called "Broadway Dimout" in the RKO "This Is America" series.
    The RKO release took audiences on a tour of Broadway theaters and restaurants in the heart of New York City's theater district, the word "dimout" in the title referenced the fact that Broadway theaters kept their neon displays off at night during World War II.
    This 75-year old poster displays very well with great graphics and vibrant colors; the poster had minor restoration done before it was archivally backed on linen - it will be shipped rolled in a tube.   The poster is a standard one-sheet that measures approximately 27" wide by 41" high; there is some excess linen around the border of the poster which could be carefully trimmed off if desired.  This poster is very difficult to find in this condition and it is ready to frame.
