    Description

Pathe Exchange Original One Sheet Poster 27x41 Very Fine Condition Linen Backed
American Silent Film starring British comedian Clyde Cook. Cook had a long career which spanned silent films, talking films and TV. He was famous for being "loose jointed" and was able to bend himself into almost any position, which gave him an unusual comid edge to be sure. WHAT'S THE WORLD COMING TO? (1926) is one of his most famous efforts and this lively stone lithograph. The poster features an image of members of a film audience laughing. This is a stock poster that was printed for Hal Roach comedies that were distributed by Pathe. The title of the film is then overprintted on the sheet. The condition of this poster is fine plus and the poster has been linen backed.
