Also featured were Mary Carlisle, George "Spanky" McFarland (of Our Gang comedies), Noah Beery and Willie Best. The picture was directed by George Stevens, who became one of Hollywood's top directors ("Giant", "A Place in the Sun", "The Diary of Anne Frank", "Shane"). Outstanding design, artwork and color.
